Blue's Clues Revival Is Coming Soon, But What About Steve?

The all-time favorite blue-spotted yapper Blue is back! The “Blue’s Clues” revival will kick off with 20 episodes. Nickelodeon announced the comeback on Tuesday saying that filming will begin in summer.
Old fans won’t have to worry about the Nickelodeon classic being butchered. The “Blue’s Clues” revival will simply have a refreshed signature look. In an interview with Variety, Cyma Zhargami, the president of Nickelodeon Group, said that the heart of the Blue’s Clues revival will still have the original show’s creativity and visual identity. However, like all the shows being thrown into the revival craze, it’ll also adjust to the needs of the audience now.
The Blue’s Clues revival will be having an open casting call for the new host on April 14 in South Carolina. Anyone can have the honor of singing the Mail Song on Nickelodeon Jr.

Blue’s Clues revival: Where’s the original Steve?

But what about the original Steve? In addition to the adorable Blue, Steve made the show much more lovable. Sadly, he didn’t stay in the show until the very end. It was an international commotion when Steve left in 2001. The worst part of it was when numerous false reports surfaced that he was dead.
Steve Burns is just as alive as he is in everyone’s memories. In exchange for the boyish haircut, green-striped sleeves, and khaki pants, Steve now has a bald head, glasses on top of his nose and a whole hipster vibe.
The Blue’s Clues actor didn’t drop out of the TV industry either. After his departure from Blue’s Clues, he appeared in other TV shows like “Law and Order,” “The Professionals,” “The Panel,” and “Yo Gabba Gabba!.” Aside from creating voice-overs, Steve’s voice is reverberating throughout the music industry. As of today, he has released three albums.
Steve Burns released his latest album last year. The album, entitled “Foreverywhere,” is filled with children’s music by the blue’s clues actor and his longtime collaborator Steven Drozd. They released it under the band StevenSteven.
In an interview with Dailymail, Steve said he might always be the possibly dead guy from Blue’s Clues. But, no matter what, he’s still proud to have been part of the show. In fact, Steve still has the original thinking chair, the “handy-dandy notebook” and a couple of green-striped shirts. He’s also had a new Blue in his life, but he never dared name him Blue. His dog Mickey is now the owner of the thinking chair in Steve’s office.
