Tyrone’s strategy to use the crowd as cover from the police fails. As Tyrone made his way through the crowd, he stops in front of O’Reilly’s car. However, the police catch up to them, so before Tyrone could enter the vehicle, the police arrest them. While the cops unjustly held Tyrone and O’Reilly, Tyrone manages to convince Officer Lafayette (Josh Ventura) to have a change of heart. Unfortunately, Connors arrives shortly after this so they could not use the moment as a means to escape.

The infected citizens finally reach the police station, causing it to go into disarray. With Officer Lafayette’s help, Tyrone traps the infected in an office. Sadly, Tyrone’s cloak gets ripped by the infected, but he manages to teleport to Tandy’s location in time to save her from the infected Mina. Now that they are together, they needed to keep the city from falling apart.

When Tandy eliminates Roxxon’s goon sent to take her out, the next priority is saving Mina. By the time she reaches Mina’s house, two infected men were attacking Mina. Eventually, Tandy and Mina make it out of the house. After this, Tandy and Mina confront Roxxon’s CEO, Peter Scarborough (Wayne Péré) so they could prevent more pipes from exploding. Before leaving Peter, Tandy traps him in a brain-dead state, reliving whatever it was that he saw in his hopes.

Roxxon’s goon tries to stop Tandy and Mina but is overrun by the infected. With too many infected around them, Tandy and Mina decide to hide in a warehouse. Unfortunately, one of the infected touch Mina, so she goes on a rampage against Tandy before Tyrone appears out of nowhere. Once Tyrone tases Mina, they leave to retreat at the church.

Saving The City

It was Evita Fusilier’s (Noelle Renée Bercy) job to let Tandy and Tyrone know what they were facing. After talking with her Auntie Chantelle (Angela M. Davis), Evita searches for Tandy and Tyrone in the church. Surprisingly, she finds them there, retreating after being hunted. At first, Tandy disagrees with the idea that one of them had to die. However, Tyrone accepts the reality of their situation.

When Evita leaves, Tyrone suddenly doubts himself and his abilities. With the cloak destroyed, Tyrone had difficulty controlling his powers. However, Tandy comes up with an alternative. Tandy gives Tyrone Billy’s hoodie back. Since it is colored black, it works for Tyrone’s powers. Now, Tandy and Tyrone prepare to face the infected.

On their way to the Roxxon building that house the main pipe valves, O’Reilly provides cover fire for them. Just as O’Reilly leaves, Connors appears out of nowhere, shooting at O’Reilly. As Connors shot at the pipe that O’Reilly rested on, the energy hits her. After this, Connors kicks her into the water. However, Connors still had a score settle: he wanted to kill Tyrone.

As Tandy and Tyrone stood at the building’s entrance, Connors points a shotgun at them. However, Tyrone grabs him by the collar while Tandy cut his gun in two. After this, Tyrone brings Connors to the rooftop. He lets Connors go, but when Connors grabs his holstered pistol, Tyrone sucks him into the darkforce dimension, something he has not done before. Tyrone remembers Evita’s warning, so he decides to close the valves alone.

Tandy knew better than to let Tyrone complete the mission alone. Just as Tyrone loses his balance, Tandy comes in to help him get rid of the energy. Since closing the valves did not work, Tandy tells Tyrone to hold hands with him. Two beams of light spring from their raised arms while they held on to each other. As the energy dispersed into the sky, Tandy and Tyrone smiled at each other, knowing that they won.

Post Catastrophe Life

Now that the police still wanted Tyrone, he stays at The Church while Tandy moved back in with her mom. Tandy even visits him, bringing Tyrone’s basic needs. It may have seemed to be a peaceful ending, but when the scene changes to a swamp, you would think twice. Now, an infected O’Reilly climbs out of the water, presumably insane.
