‘The Voice’ Season 14: 'The Blind Auditions' Part 6 Recap [SPOILERS]

During Part 6 of “The Voice” Blind Auditions, the coaches finally completed their team. Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson are more than ready for the battle rounds. But before that, take a look at these aspiring singers who made it to the next round before the blind audition ends.

Genesis Diaz

This 19-year old girl from Miami, Florida sang “Praying” by Kesha. Genesis Diaz’s parents are both musicians, so it’s not surprising to know that they are supporting her ambitions and Genesis’ passion for music. Her performance grabbed the attention of the audience, and one could say that she might have delivered one of the best blind auditions in “The Voice.” Adam Levine and Blake Shelton turned their chairs for her. Blake did his best to convince Genesis to join him, saying that he could be happier once she completes his team this season. Adam, however, didn’t let that happen, so he got her!

Dallas Caroline

Dallas Caroline is a three-chair turner auditionee. She sang Willie Nelson’s “You Were Always On My Mind” and was able to convince Kelly, Blake, and Adam to turn for Dallas. Despite the nervousness that Dallas felt during her performance, she made it to the battle rounds and finally completed Blake’s team. Blake said that Dallas could be the next hero of country music, so he wants to be her coach. Indeed, Dallas chose Blake.

Sharane Calister

Music served as an instrument for Sharane to reconnect with her twin sister in a high school music course. Sharane was separated from her twin sister for years due to her parent’s battle with addiction, grandmother’s illness, and subsequent addiction. Sharane’s sultry low notes made Alicia cheer for her. Kelly also turned to her since she believes that it would be disrespectful not to do it with the kind of talent Sharane has. But as other people say, the first one is always the best choice, so Sharane chose Alicia.

Jackie Verna

Every season, we never miss meeting some inspiring singers that would touch our heart and soul. This time, it’s Jackie Verna from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Jackie went through a terrible car accident that caused her not only a head injury and facial disfiguration but also damaged her courage in performing. Adam was fortunate to get Jackie as the last contestant on his list. Alicia, Kelly, and Blake may not have turned for her, but her story evidently moved them. Adam said that she was the best country singer he ever heard.

Amber Sauer

This 35-year old woman completed Kelly’s team. She sang one of Ed Sheeran’s hit songs, “Shape Of You.” Amber used the power of her voice to catch the attention not only of Kelly but the audience as well. Since Kelly is one of those people who influenced her in pursuing music, she chooses her in the end.
“The Voice” continues next Monday, March 19th, and Tuesday, March 20th with the Battles Premiere at 8/7c on NBC.
